happy holidays

A quick card to share with you.

For this card I used papers and sentiment by My Minds Eye from the "winter wonderland" collection, The snowman stamp is by Penny Black "jolly follies", the flair button is by American Crafts and that silver snowflake is by Making Memories.

I created this card using the sketch at Merry Mondays.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today it really means a lot to me.

bluebonnets

I woke up pretty early today or should I say earlier than normal and decided to do a little scrapbooking as I wanted to use this months sketch over at ScrapFIT.

For my layout I used papers from the Amy Tangerine ready set go collection along with some other items from my stash. I just love this little photo of my great nephew Ryder James so had to switch up the sketch a little bit as my photo is landscape instead of portrait.

Here is that fabulous sketch that I used and I know I will be using this one again in the future.

Everyday holds...

A quick card to share that I am entering into this weeks sketch challenge over at Retro Sketches.

I used an embossing folder by Darice, tree die from PaperTrey Ink and the sentiment is by Technique Tuesday.

Here is the sketch that I used for my cards inspiration.

Welcome

I just love the papers in the new dear lizzy "5th & frolic" collection. I mixed it with a new PaperTrey Ink stamp set called "winter hills".

I am entering this card into this weeks Paper Players challenge.

itsy bitsy

My great-nephew Ryder loves to do the hand movements when he hears the song "the itsy bitsy spider", so these are a few shots his Mom took while she was singing the song to him.

I am entering this layout into this weeks challenge over at The Pink Elephant and this weeks challenge is a recipe challenge.

Ingredients:
3 photos (check)
buttons (check)
flowers (kinda check)

After I picked my pictures and created my layout I realized I needed flowers on my page. Well this isn't really a girl layout so I added one little purple flower to the heart. I hope that counts. My button is actually a flair badge/button.

This is the last week for entries if you want to be on the design team so hopefully I will know if I made it in the next couple weeks. Wish me LUCK!

recipe:
papers: amy tangerine (ready set go)
misc: memory box (hexagon die), american crafts (thickers), washi tape (downtown tapes), amy tangerine (ready set go chipboard), darcie (flair badge), amy tangerine (roller date stamp)

I love the look of kraft and white on a card.

best wishes for

One last card to share with you today that I created for this weeks challenge over at Bugaboo Stamps Blog

This weeks challenge is a recipe and we were to use a circle and 3 brads on our card. I also used the reindeer ornament digital image from the shop. He was just too cute to pass up.

Other items used on my card were papers and brads by My Minds Eye from the "winter wonderland collection", Sizzix embossing folder, Copics and glossy accents.

Joyful

I love a good snowman.

I created this card using a new digital image that I picked up over at Bugaboo Stamps. I used papers by doodlebug designs along with letter stickers by Authentique. The circle is embossed with a snowflake embossing folder and then again with the swiss dots embossing folder.

I used this weeks sketch over at Freshly Made for my inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today it really means a lot to me.

joy

I love penguins and snowmen and whenever I find a cute one I just can't resist them.

I bought this cute little penguin digital image over at Bugaboo Stamps. The mitten shape is a new release over at PaperTrey Ink this month.

I will be sending these little mitten cards to some of my little nieces and nephews.

be jolly

Don't you just love it when the minute you see a sketch you know exactly what you are going to do with it?

Such was the case when I saw this weeks sketch over at Skipping Stones Design.

The ornament and holly on my card are dies from PaperTrey Inc., as is the red and green inks, the papers are by doodlebug designs from the "north pole" collection, sentiment stamps are by Paper Smooches.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today it really means a lot to me.

oh baby ~ tpe30

I have had this little bird picture for awhile and when I saw the color challenge over at The Pink Elephant I knew it was my chance to use this photo. They are also doing a DT call so am entering this layout as well.

I used papers from the Amy Tangerine Ready Set Go line along with papers from the Simple Stories "SN@P" collections, buttons are by October Afternoon and the circles and labels are printables from Studio Calico. I added some Mister Huey's in black, white and orange.

boo

I think I love making Halloween cards almost as much as I love making Christmas cards, so when I saw this weeks challenge over at The Pink Elephant I just had to play along.

I love Lori's digital images and the one I used for my card is part of a two piece set called Puddle Jumpers "Peek and Boo". I believe the one on my card is Boo.

I used papers and alpha stickers by October Afternoon, a bingo card from my stash and I colored the image with Copics. I added a little bit of texture by raising the little ghost with pop dots and sewing a straight stitch on my card.

wishing you

Another card to share with you today that I created for the Merry Monday challenge this week.

I used papers by Doodlebug Designs along with stamps by PTI. After looking at this photo I feel something is missing so I might have to go back and do a little bit of stitching on that dark green piece of paper as well as down the fishtail banner. What do you think?

Here is this weeks sketch where I got the inspiration for my card.

frames PP118

It is a grey and rainy morning here in Minnesota so perfect weather for sitting in your jammies and working on a few projects.

I have to say that I had more fun creating this card than I have in a long time. I used a QuicKutz embossing folder along with a new Paper Smooches stamp set "Christmas Sampler" and two wooden embellishments by Studio Calico.

I painted the frame and the tree with some paint daubers and then added a star to the tree and some enamel accents to the frame. I outlined them both with a gold paint pen.

I am entering this card into this weeks challenge over at the Paper Players.

really good

One more quick card to share with you today.

For this card I finally inked up this Technique Tuesday stamp (life is good) that I have had for over a year. It didn't ink up as nice as I thought it would but I still love it.

Papers are by Fancy Pants Designs from the 'life is good' collection. The flair button is by BasicGrey.

I used Karen's sketch over at Sweet Sunday for my inspiration.

warm wishes

The house is quiet here this morning as the hubby and son have run to the airport to welcome home the Minnesota Lynx basketball team who lost the WNBA finals last night to Indiana.

While they are gone I thought I would share with you a card I created for this weeks sketch over at Fall to Layout.

I pulled out papers from the My Minds Eye 'winter wonderland' collection along with one of my favorite wintertime embossing folders, some time and a button from my stash. The frame and white insert are nestability dies.

If you haven't noticed I LOVE a white card base. Makes this girls heart happy.

Here is the sketch I used for my inspiration.

happy

A quick card to share with you before I head out of the house to enjoy this beautiful fall day here in Minnesota.

I created this card for this weeks sketch challenge over at Retro Sketches

As soon as I saw the sketch I knew I had to use my favorite Hero Arts stamp along with the new SN@P collection of papers by Simple Stories. Archivers had an exclusive SN@P 6x6 paper pad if you spent $30 so I had to get it.

I still had my new Paper Smooches stamp set on my desk and the Crate Paper 6x6 pad from the card I made yesterday. So I was halfway there already.

best friend

I created this layout for Ella's Pink Scrapbook - Challenge #29 over at The Pink Elephant. I am also applying for Lori's new Design Team.

I apologize for the lighting on my photo it has been grey and drizzly here the past couple of days and I didn't want to wait any longer to post my layout.

I don't do many girl layouts so had to dig deep into my stash to find some pink papers to use on a layout.

fall

Dinner is about ready to come out of the oven and the house is smelling really great right now, but I have a quick card to share with you before I return to the kitchen.

I created this card for the Friday Mashup challenge.

I used papers by echo park from the fall fever collection and simple stories SN@P collection, the sentiment is a rubon by EAD.

Here is the sketch I followed.
