JOY

Once again Lesley has an amazing sketch for us at Merry Monday. I must admit this one had me stumped just a little bit.

I have once again used papers from the 'snowy day' collection by Crate Paper along with stamps by The Alley Way Stamps 'jolly holiday', stickers by Simple Stories, and snowflakes by A Muse.

If you have been following my blog all month you will notice that I have been using the same papers and embellishments all month for my Merry Monday post. I just love the colors in this collection.

Make sure and stop over at the blog and check out what the rest of the design team along with our guest designer have created.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today it really means a lot to me.

Finally today I had some time to make some cards for fun after completing a few Design Team assignments.

First on the list was to make a card for the newest challenge over at the Bugaboo Stamps blog.

I used papers from the Simple Stories 'SN@P' collection along with this sweet digital image by Bugaboo.

This is the sketch that I used for my inspiration.

I will be back with one more card to share with you today.

Woot Woot - Happy News

To say I have had a great week is an understatement. Yesterday, I received an email from Lesley asking me if I would like to join the Merry Monday design team.

This has been a goal of mine for awhile now and it has finally happened. I LOVE making Christmas cards and the girls on this team are some of the nicest out there. So of course I said yes.

For my card I used papers and stickers from the "handmade holiday" collection by Simple Stories, button, sentiment, ink and die cut are all by PaperTrey Ink.

I hope you will join me this week and welcome me to the design team by playing along on this weeks sketch challenge.

Here is the entire Design Team. Stop by and check out what they have created with this weeks sketch.

Don't forget to enter my drawing here for some Birthday blog candy that I am giving out this week.

oh baby ~ tpe30

I have had this little bird picture for awhile and when I saw the color challenge over at The Pink Elephant I knew it was my chance to use this photo. They are also doing a DT call so am entering this layout as well.

I used papers from the Amy Tangerine Ready Set Go line along with papers from the Simple Stories "SN@P" collections, buttons are by October Afternoon and the circles and labels are printables from Studio Calico. I added some Mister Huey's in black, white and orange.

Dinner is about ready to come out of the oven and the house is smelling really great right now, but I have a quick card to share with you before I return to the kitchen.

I created this card for the Friday Mashup challenge.

I used papers by echo park from the fall fever collection and simple stories SN@P collection, the sentiment is a rubon by EAD.

Here is the sketch I followed.

brrrrr

Woke up to 34 degrees outside this morning so decided to make a few cards while the family was sleeping.

I used my favorite stamping technique on this card which is using Tim Holtz distress stains all over the image and then adding a paint dauber to one section of the stamp before stamping it to paper.

In this case I used a green adirondak paint dauber on the tree. I added glossy accents to the bulbs on the tree and water colored the candles. Papers are from the Simple Stories 'handmade holiday' collection.

Thanks for stopping by to visit my blog.

I have a quick card to share with you that I created for the newest sketch challenge over at Skipping Stone Designs.

I loved the sketch and could not wait to use some of my new Simple Stories "harvest lane" papers and Technique Tuesday "autumn afternoons". I love any stamp set that Ali Edwards designs. Makes me wish I could write like her.

Here is this weeks fabulous sketch. I can see myself using this one over and over again.

Thanks for stopping by to look and I am going to try and do a better job of posting on my blog in the future.

you were born an original

So the other day I posted that I won a ton of stamps from Unity. Well I sat down yesterday and played with a few of them and here is one of the cards that I created.

Don't you just love that stamp image?

I used the newest sketch from Clean and Simple Stamping for the inspiration on my card.

Thanks for stopping by to look.
