happy halloween

I have been in a mood to make Halloween cards the past couple days and wish that we were having some nice fall weather to go along with that.

I created this card for this weeks challenge over at the Paper Players. I used papers and twine from the doodlebug designs collection "haunted manor", the ghost image is from "tremendous treats: halloween" by PTI. The sentiment is by Technique Tuesday from "halloween circles".

Here is this weeks sketch over at the Paper Players.

I love making Halloween cards so be watching my blog for more in the very near future.

Thanks for stopping by to look.

trick or treat

A quick card to share with you that I created using this weeks sketch over at Retro Sketches. The image and sentiment are from "tremendous treats: halloween" by PTI and I paper pieced the little monster using paper by doodlebug from the "haunted manor" collection, twine is from the same collection.

Here is the fabulous sketch that inspired by card.

let's chill

A quick card before I head out to run a few errands this morning.

I used this weeks Merry Monday sketch as the inspiration for my card along with more of my October Afternoon "holiday style" paper and button and a new Paper Smooches stamp set called "swanky snowdudues".

If you haven't noticed yet I am absolutely in love with everything Paper Smooches these days. The stamps are so cute and they stamp like butter.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and as always your comments are appreciated.

love machine

I Skyped with my friend Michelle last night and we worked on making cards together.

We picked this weeks sketch over at Sweet Sunday because we loved the layout and the banners were like icing on the cake.

I used papers by My Minds Eye from The Sweetest Thing "bluebell" collection along with my new Paper Smooches stamp set "squeaky clean". Banner was made using the SU banner punch.

Here is the sketch that inspired my card.

to my core

I created this card for a new (new to me) challenge I found a few days ago while blurfing.

The challenge over at Inspired by was to create a card using this picture as your inspiration.

As soon as I saw this photo I knew I wanted to use my new Paper Smooches stamp set "falling for you" along with papers by Bo'Bunny from the Apple Cider collection.

Thanks for stopping by to look. Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

happy

When I first saw this weeks sketch over at Clean and Simple Stamping I thought I would pass on it as it scared me, but after looking at the card that came with the sketch I decide to jump in and do it.

I used Pretty Peonies by PTI for the flower and sentiment, papers are by BasicGrey from the Serendipity collection.

I really like how it turned out so am glad I decided to give the sketch a try.

for the love of banners

While blurfing this morning I came across the CAS-ual Fridays challenge and had to play along because I love using banners on everything lately.

For my card I used some Neenah Natural White as the base of my card and then added an assortment of banners cut from the My Minds Eye "The Sweetest Thing" Tangerine collection. The sentiment is by Paper Smooches and the little dew drops are from my stash.

I totally forgot I had those little dew drops and love how they look so will try and remember to use them more. I have about a half cup of about 15 - 20 colors so leave a comment and I will pick one winner to win a little bit of each of the colors that I own.

Now here is my card.

My all time favorite color used to be green and now I think Orange is quickly moving up to the top.

I will pick a winner for the dew drops on Tuesday.

Thanks for stopping by to look at my card and as always comments are appreciated.

hello

A quick card for you today that I created for this weeks challenge over at The Paper Players.

I love paper piecing so had to play along and it was the perfect opportunity to use one of my new Paper Smooches stamps that I picked up.

I paper pieced all the elements of the stamped image and then colored in the cats eyes and added some googly eyes to the rabbit. The sentiment was created using mini stickers by doodlebug designs. Papers are from the exclusive BasicGrey for JoAnn's collection called Serendipity.

Thanks for stopping by to look at my little creation.

naughty or nice

I loved this weeks Merry Monday sketch so much I had to make two cards using it.

This first card is the one I am submitting for the challenge and I used my all time favorite Holiday papers by October Afternoon from the "holiday style" collection along with stickers and chipboard elements from the same collection.

Here is that fabulous sketch that I used.

I created this next card using the same sketch but can't submit for the challenge as I used a fall theme so I could use some new Bo'Bunny papers and chipboard elements from the "apple cider" collection along with stamps by PTI and Technique Tuesday.

Once again thanks for stopping by my blog and as always your comments are appreciated.

I have a quick card to share with you that I created for the newest sketch challenge over at Skipping Stone Designs.

I loved the sketch and could not wait to use some of my new Simple Stories "harvest lane" papers and Technique Tuesday "autumn afternoons". I love any stamp set that Ali Edwards designs. Makes me wish I could write like her.

Here is this weeks fabulous sketch. I can see myself using this one over and over again.

Thanks for stopping by to look and I am going to try and do a better job of posting on my blog in the future.

For this card I used some papers from the new  My Minds Eye "the sweetest thing" lavender collection along with a Paper Smooches stamp from the "chit chat" collection. The flower is made using a die from PTI.

I used this weeks sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches #47 for my inspiration.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog and as usual your comments are appreciated.

house sitting

I will be away for a couple days as I am at my nieces house dog/cat sitting while they are out of town.

Mitzy thinks I am her new bff and follows me everywhere and I mean everywhere.

Isn't she just sweet.

Angel aka "bange" doesn't really like me and I don't really care for her. She hides from me and I hide from her.

The garden here is amazing it looks like a jungle. I am enjoying lots of salads with tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden.

Be back next week for a couple days and then am heading out of town on vacation.
Thanks for stopping by.
