comfort and joy to you ~ PoppyStamps

It's my day over on the PoppyStamps blog so I hope you will stop over and say hello.

I used the deer silhouette and comfort and joy cling stamps on my card today.

I love this deer and tree stamp and colored it with my distress stains before stamping. I added the moon to the image and then colored with more distress ink after applying some masking fluid to it.

For my card this week I am using the Smiley Snowman image from the store.

I have used papers by Bo Bunny from the 'elf magic' collection along with some Thickers alpha letter for my sentiment. I colored the image with Copic markers and then added some glitter with my Wink of Stella glitter pen.

ADFD -just add gold challenge

Friday again and time for another look at the new release 'vintage time' over at A Day for Daisies and also time for a new challenge.

Our challenge this week is to use gold on your card.

For my card I used the image 'fancy hair fairy' along with a gold doily from my stash and gold photo frame by Crate Paper from the Pier collection. The ribbon is from my stash.

For my card this week I used Cocoa's Latte. I just love that sweet little mouse. I had so much fun coloring and paper piecing this image.

Poppy Stamps Blog Blitz

Did you know that Poppy Stamps carries digital cut files of most of their dies? For the next few days some of the design team members will be showcasing them on the Poppy Stamps blog.

believe ~ fms#111

I worked on a few cards this morning for some upcoming design team post and also found time to play along with sketch #111 over at Freshly Made Sketches.

For my card I used papers by Heidi Swapp and the tree element is by Fancy Pants. You can't really see it but I embossed 'believe' in gold glitter in the lower right corner. Should have went with black but too late now.

believe - ADFD New Release

Friday and that means time for a new release over at A Day for Daisies and this weeks release is all about Vintage Time!

I am working with the new image Fancy Shoe Fairy and this image along with all of the new releases for this week can be found over on the ADFD blog.

I used papers from the BasicGrey 'persimmon' collection along with some alpha stickers, enamel dots and sequins from my stash.

So do you notice any difference in my photo today? My birthday was yesterday and my son bought me the light tent I have been wanting. I definitely think it helps with the brightness of the photo and will come in handy during our long Minnesota winters.

We got our first measurable snowfall Tuesday evening. The weatherman was predicting 4 to 5 inches and we got about 2 inches. So happy that he was wrong on the amount. I am not ready for this.
