Don't Sweat it!

Today I am sharing a card  along with the rest of the Art Impressions design team using one of the new Ai People images just released today.

This image is also perfect for our current challenge "Humourous/Punny" cards.

For my card I used Ai People Don't Sweat It! Sku#4528.

(Copics used: E000, E00, E11, R20, E18,E23, E25,
R81, RV21, RV25, N1)

She was fun to color and then I applied my favorite technique which is paper piecing to complete her shirt, pants, wrist and headbands.

I am guessing if I were a runner I would probably look like this only a little more rounder around the edges.

Make sure you stop over at the Art Impressions blog and check out which new images the rest of the design team used today.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today it really means a lot to me.

Supplies used:
Stamps: Don't Sweat It (Art Impressions)
Paper: Solar White (Neenah), Creative Agenda (Echo Park)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Copic Markers
Misc.: Enamel Dots (My Minds Eye), Foam tape, Stitched Circles (MFT)

Hello Sylvia

I am still working on inking up all my un-inked stamp sets and today I played with one of the Art Impressions Golden Oldies 'Sylvia'.

She reminds me of me only she is a much skinnier version.

(copics used: E000, E02, E09, E11, E13, E15, E18, R30, BG000,
R05, YG23, N1)

I colored the image in with Copics and then paper pieced her dress and pants using papers from the Studio Calico Lemon Lush collection. I then added a rub on from the garden collection by Pebbles to the vellum and stitched it all down with my sewing machine. Popped on a few sequins at the very last minute.

Art Impressions New Girlfriends Launch and Blog Hop

Now in the shop!
Hello Ai friends we are having a blog hop today featuring our Girlfriends stamps.

You should have arrived here from Renee's blog.

Today I am sharing a card that I created using the newly released Girlfriends Giant Cake image.

This stamp set reminds me of my two besties from high school. Getting together always involves cake or some other kind of dessert.

This is definitely a fun image to color and I also added some paper piecing to the clothing.

Your next stop on the hop is Judith's blog.

Here is the full hop list if you get lost during the links and don't forget to sign up for our awesome giveaway below!

prima girl

Yesterday I took a little drive to a scrapbook store on the other side of town to see what it was like.

I was so excited to see that they carried the Prima dolls at the store both the big ones and the small ones.

Brought this little lady home with me.

I had fun coloring her up and paper piecing her dress. Once I attached the dress to the shoulder area I then stuffed the skirt with tissue paper to give it a little dimension. It looks great if I do say so myself.

Sugar & Spice ~ Ai

Today the  Art Impressions design team is doing a mini blog hop featuring our newest release and challenge.

My card features one of the new Mini Front & Back sets called Boy & Girl which was released at CHA this past January and just released into the Art Impressions Store a few days ago.

Here is a look at the front of my card. Don't you just love her little head peeking through that vellum window?

And this is what it looks like on the opposite side once you open up the card.

Such a fun set to use.

I hope you will stop over at the Ai blog for a list of design team and the hop order.
