I Scream, You Scream

I finally had time to play with my August Simon Says Stamp card kit today.

And here is my first card.

I love the stamp set this month. All ice cream related stamps. 

I had fun coloring in the ice cream bars with my Copics and then I fussy cut them out and mounted them to the card. Next I added glossy accents to each one to give them a little bit of dimension. You can't really see it on the card but they look great in person.

Oh Shoot ~ Art Impressions

It is my day up on the Art Impressions blog.

Today I am sharing with you a card I created using one of the Girlfriend stamps. This one is called Picture Perfect.

This group of ladies totally reminds me of me and my girlfriends.

I decide to go with bold colors for their clothing since they seemed to be a loud group of ladies. I sewed on the strips of paper and then adhered the wooden camera and stamped the sentiment.

Poppystamps Twinery Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog. If you are joining us on the Poppystamps and The Twinery Blog Hop, you should have arrived here at my blog from Melania Deasy's blog.

Here is my card using the Poppystamps die and twine from The Twinery.

I used the Poppystamps Moo Moo Cow die along with some Maraschino Stripe twine from The Twinery. My card was really easy to make. I hand cut a fishtail banner and then die cut the Moo Moo Cow in it. I added the stickers for the sentiment and then wrapped the twine around the top that I added some silver bells to. I then popped it up with some foam tape.

For fun I created a second card for the hop using some Mandarin Stripe twine from The Twinery that I wrapped around a cardstock circle along with the Dianna Border and Mesa Background dies from Poppystamps.

Big Birthday ~ NEW Zoo Crew Launch

It's a big day over on the Art Impressions blog. Today we are Launching some new Zoo Crew stamps.

We also have a challenge running which is "Big Birthdays"! 

For my card today I am using 'deep breath birthday'.

Don't you just love that little Blowfish?

I used my watercolor paints to color my image today as well as the pink on the fishtail banner. To get the shading on the image I made sure that each color was dry before going onto the next color. Once I was finished I added glossy accents to his eyes, the bubbles and candles to give it a little more dimension.

I sewed the banner down and then attached the image to my card base using foam squares.

It's okay... Ai "use a doily" challenge

Have you checked out our current challenge over at the Art Impressions blog?

Yep, we want to see you use a doily on your card. I love adding doilies so was really happy to see this challenge.

For my card I used the Jumbo Dancer image along with  the Jealous Too sentiment. I colored her with copic markers and then paper pieced her dress, hat and purse using papers from the BasicGrey Highline collection. The doily is from my stash of course I had to do a little sewing on the side of it and the enamel dots are by My Minds Eye.

Art Impressions Pop Ups

It is my day up on the Art Impressions blog and I am sharing one of the cards over there using one of the Pop Ups called Art Deco 2.

I love the Pop Ups for making quick cards. Each set gives you enough for 3 - 4 cards.

Here is the other card that I created using that set.

Besides the Pop Ups I used Neenah Solar White and Kraft cardstock. Everything else is in the set.

I took one of the sentiments along with one of the extra pieces and added them to the inside of my card.
