I am still having fun playing with my new WPlus9 stamp set and dies "fresh cut florals" and decided to make another card with the extras left over from a few days ago.

I am entering this card into this weeks challenge over at Fab Friday.

If you follow my blog you know how much I love a CAS white card with a pop of color. I should probably warn you that I will be using this stamp set a lot in the coming weeks.

dance - BLD designer paper challenge

Time for a new challenge at By Lori Designs and for this challenge we want to see designer paper on your cards.

For my card I picked papers and chipboard frame from the Crate Paper Pier Collection along with this sweet image by Lori called 'Lollipop Avery Ballerina'. She is one of my favorites.

I added some of my hand dyed ribbons to the card along with a tutu made of lace to her ballerina outfit.

This is the last week to participate in the Merry Monday 'anything goes challenge' in July. Next week we are back to our weekly sketches.

For my card I used papers by BasicGrey from the 'Aspen Frost' collection along with some thickers alpha stickers, button from my stash and a snowflake I created using a die from A Muse.

four sisters ~ Artful Delight

Today is my last post over at Artful Delight as the guest designer.  I want to thank Leeanne and Debbie for letting me create with this months kit.

For my layout I used an old picture of me and my 3 older sisters taken the day before my younger sister was born. We lived in Northern California in a small town called Pollock Pines but this photo was taken at my Aunt and Uncles house in Placerville.

Everything on my layout except for the ink splatter is from the July Scrapbook kit.

Friday and that means time for a new challenge over at A Day for Daisies. This week the design team is using their favorite image from the store and the challenge is to add something shiny to your card.

For my favorite image I chose "bot two"  to use this week and for my shiny I added glossy accents to all the green parts on the robot along with a little on the star in the upper left corner.

It finally cooled off outside where I can go into my craftroom and work without sweating all over everything and that means I had time to play with some of the stuff on my desk.

Over at Always Playing with Paper the Merry Monday group is still doing our Anything Goes Christmas challenge the entire month of July and I have another card to share that I created.

This card came together really quickly since no stamping of any kind was involved in the making of this card. I used papers and chipboard by My Minds Eye. I love a cute snowman and just had to use this little guy.

hello you ~ Artful Delight Guest Designer

I won the scrapbook sketch challenge last month over at Artful Delight and they asked me to be this months Guest Designer. Of course I had to say yes.

This week I am using the July sketch challenge for my layout. This was a fun sketch to work with.

I am trying to be brave and include more photos of "me" in the scrapbooks even if I don't like how they turn out. Lots of sewing on this layout (don't look too close as I am not a straight stitcher).

Everything you see on my layout is from the kit except the paints I used to do the splatters. It is a great kit filled with a lot of stuff to play with.

ADFD July Kit Club & Challenge

Once again this week the design team over at A Day for Daisies is using images from  the July Kit Club and it is also a challenge week. For this challenge we want to see you use a 'die cut' on your card.

I used the image fairy bird 3 on my card and for my die cuts I used a circle Nestabilities die and some MFT fish tail banner dies. 

I love how my friend Stacey does her cards and am cardlifting her layout idea to have the banners over the top of the card along with some sewing.
