(this is my second post today, please scroll down for my Sentimental Sundays post)

This past week was full of good news I was asked to join the Scribbles Designs design team and was totally excited to be able to play along with this talented group of women.

Today they are introducing the newbies so make sure to stop over and meet all of the Scribblers over on the challenge blog.

I thought I would share a couple of valetine cards I made using some of Sandy's digitial images which can be in the store.

First up is a card I created using "brr my valentine". He is just totally too cute and so fun and easy to color in.

Next up I used this cute little truck image called "hearts truck" suitable for any little or big guy in your life.

Hope to see you playing along with us on our current challenge. You can get all the details over on the blog here.

jingle balls

Doesn't the name of my post just make you laugh or at least snicker a little.

Isn't this just the cutest little stamp? Love those little snow guys. I had the hardest time with the card though and almost trashed it after my second go at coloring it. Not sure why but on the first image the red bled really bad and even my colorless marker would not remove the mess I made and then on this image the blue did the same thing. So don't look too close at this image.

I used this weeks 'what if wednesday' challenge for the inspiration on my card layout. I also used some of my wrinkle ribbon which I haven't used in awhile and a large dots embossing folder.

love today

(this is my third post today ~ scroll down to see my TPE Scrapbook and Artful Delight post)

It's December and time for the first challenge over at Stamp Your Life, LLC., which is an "Anything Goes" challenge.

I used the love today stamp from the store to create the background on my card and colored it with a couple of Copic markers. I added some glossy accents to each of the hearts to make them POP!

The challenges will run until the 21st of each month with the winner announced the last week of the month. I hope you will join in on our first challenge and remember it is "Anything Goes".

Make sure to check out the blog to see what the other members of the design team have created and to link up your project to play along.

Celebrate the Season - CTS#6

(If you are looking for my ADFD post please scroll down or click here.)

Don't you just love it when you find that perfect stamp that makes you smile every time you see it? Well this little stamp by Art Impressions does that for me. I just love those sweet penguins.

I created this card using Copics, some glossy accents and paper from the Echo Park 'very merry christmas' 6x6 pad.

I used this weeks sketch at CAS(E) this sketch as my inspiration.

Acorn Boy Fairy

Friday, and Tammy has a couple of new images for us over at A Day for Daisies.

I got to play with Acorn Boy Fairy along with some new papers from Crate Paper called 'Acorn Avenue'.  I just had to use them since they both had the same name, kind of. I also used some buttons by October Afternoon and a bit of twine from my stash.

Here is a look at both of the new images for this week.

I am entering this into the challenge over at Sweet Sunday as I love the sketch this week. I loved the sketch so much this is my second entry.

Merry Christmoose ~ CHNC#98

Since it is a grey and rainy day here mixed with a few snowflakes I thought I would color in an image for a new challenge blog I found.

The challenge this week over at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge is to create a Christmas card suitable for a man or a boy.

I won 10 images a couple weeks ago over at Bugaboo Stamps and bought this cute reindeer image. The paper is new from the Echo Park 'very merry christmas' collection and that cute ivy is from a new Martha Stewart punch. I added some doodlebug design mini pearls for the berries.

I think it looks masculine. What do you think?

make a wish

A quick card to share that I made for this weeks challenge at Bugaboo Stamps. The challenge this week is 'things with tails'.

I absolutely love this little dinosaur image and was happy he had a tail so I could use him in the current challenge, and I got to use my favorite color green too. I pulled out some of my Project Life stash for this card (the label and journal tag). The embossing folder is a new one I picked up this weekend called 'falling dots'.

snowmen ~ rs#37

Do you ever have this great idea for a card and you work on it for what seems like forever and then when it's done it is nothing like you envisioned?

Meet today's card!

I thought about throwing it out and starting over and then decided to just post it and move on.

Here is the fabulous sketch that was created based on one of Arielle's cards.

Happy Fall - CTS#5

I am still working on using all my stamps at least once and this weeks sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch was perfect to use this Fall stamp set by Inky Antics called 'Squirrel'.

I kept the card really simple and stamped the sentiment in ripe avocado and dark chocolate and colored the leaves my my Copics.

Here is the sketch that was my inspiration.

boo

I think I love making Halloween cards almost as much as I love making Christmas cards, so when I saw this weeks challenge over at The Pink Elephant I just had to play along.

I love Lori's digital images and the one I used for my card is part of a two piece set called Puddle Jumpers "Peek and Boo". I believe the one on my card is Boo.

I used papers and alpha stickers by October Afternoon, a bingo card from my stash and I colored the image with Copics. I added a little bit of texture by raising the little ghost with pop dots and sewing a straight stitch on my card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today it really means a lot to me.

eye SEE you!

Well I thought I read the challenge correctly, but now as I type up my blog post I see that I totally got it wrong.

CFC41:  Jest for the Pun of it.
Use a pun, or a sentiment in a silly way to create a joke, on your
Clean And Simple creation.

I probably should have used something that said "Eye SEE You!" instead of what I used. But I am too lazy to go back and change the sentiment and re-shoot a photo of my card.

I think I will be a rebel and post my card on the challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays anyway.

Thanks for stopping by to look.

introducing baby micah and baby nora

There are a few new Lollipops in town today. The lovely Lori Boyd of byLORidesigns has designed two new baby Lollipops and one of them is named after my little Micah.

So without further comment here they are.

 baby micah

 baby nora

I created a couple of cards since I could not wait to play with them. This first card is for this weeks challenge over at Mojo Monday. I used a couple of Cuttlebug embossing folders along with some May Arts ribbon.

This next card is for this weeks challenge over at Techno Stamper and for this card I used a new Sizzix embossing folder. I love how some of the new ones are horizontal now. I added some of my handmade wrinkle ribbon.

I hope you enjoy! Stop back tomorrow for my card for this weeks challenge over at Sasya's Sketches.

ahoy ~ bumbo

Just a quick post this morning before I head out to work at Anchor Paper.

I have been busy as a bee making different colors of the wrinkle ribbon and thought I would share a picture with you.

If you are interested in purchasing some leave me a comment or send me an email and I can give you the information.

Okay, since I had all this fabulous ribbon sitting here in front of me I had to use it on a card so decided to use it on the card for the July challenge over at Claudia and Company. This months challenge was to use pink and aqua.

Isn't the image of this little boy just the cutest? I bought this over at Mo's digital pencil.

My scrapbook layout is for an 8x8 book I am doing of some of  Micah's baby photos.

The layout was inspired by the sketch challenge over at Design Dollies Sketchday.

I sprayed my page with two different colors of glimmer mist and although it isn't the exact look I was going for I think It turned out okay. t I need to figure out how you get the splotches instead of the full spray so  I will have to work on that.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my blog.
Enjoy!
