kraft day two

I have another card for you today using a Kraft card base instead of my usual white one. My friend Amy and I are doing a friendly little switch, she is using white and I am using kraft.

I used more of my Crate Paper "random" papers and chipboard for my card along with some lace from my stash.

I used the Sasya's Sketches bonus sketch for my inspiration.

Stop back tomorrow to see my 3rd card using a Kraft card base.
Enjoy!

10 years ago... ~ ss56

Here is my card for this weeks challenge over at Sasya's Sketches. It is hard to believe that my 2nd term of being on this wonderful design team is now over. I have really enjoyed working with Sasya and the rest of the design team.

The papers are by My Minds Eye from the "fine and dandy" collection. The sentiment is PTI, I added some thickers by American Crafts and some of my handmade wrinkle ribbon.

So has this weeks sketch inspired you to play along?

Enjoy!

hello sunshine ~ ss54

I can't believe how fast the time goes and already it is time for a sketch challenge at Sasya's Sketches.

My card this week uses papers by Echo Park from the "for the record" and "life is good" collections. The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch and the roses are by Prima and have been in my stash a few years now. I figured it was time to use them. The sentiment is a sticker by SRM.

Don't you just love this sketch?

I hope you will play along with us this week.

I can't believe that it is already Wednesday and time for another sketch challenge over at Sasya's Sketches. I know I say this a lot but I really love this weeks sketch and plan on adding it to my new sketch book that I made.

For this card I pulled out my October Afternoon "thrift shop" papers and wild cards. I added part of a prima bling flourish and some of my handmade wrinkle ribbon. The flower is a McGill punch and the button is from my BasicGrey stash.

Here is this weeks sketch. Don't you love it?

I hope you will take some time to play along with us this week.

ss51 - hello

Wednesday and time for another great sketch challenge over at Sasya's Sketches.

For this weeks card I used papers by BasicGrey from the "curio" collection. The handmade muslin flower was created by me (I am addicted), the leaves are a die cut from Taylored Expressions and the tiny type stickers are by Cosmo Cricket. (I am addicted to them too)

Here is the sketch that inspired my card. I hope it inspires you to play along with us too.

Enjoy!

ss50 thank you

I am trying to use up some of my 6x6 paper pads and I created this card using some of my Webster's Pages. I don't know about you but I find it hard to create with this paper and therefore it sits in a pile with some of my older papers yet to be touched.

I created my card for this weeks sketch challenge over at Sasya's Sketches and along with the Webster's Pages paper I used some of my handmade wrinkle ribbon, antique linen distress ink, and Cosmo Cricket "tiny type" stickers.

I hope you will take some time this week to play along with us.
Enjoy!

hello ~ ss48

Wednesday and time for another sketch challenge over at Sasya's Sketches.

My card was created during the time that my Mojo was missing so I will apologize now that it just doesn't seem to flow like my normal cards do.

I used papers by BasicGrey from the "mellow" collection as well as Cosmo Cricket buttons and tiny type stickers. The stamp is by SU and was a gift from a friend.

Here is the sketch that inspired my card. I hope you will take a little bit of time to play along with us as well.

floral fantasy

Oh yes, it is Wednesday and time for another sketch challenge over at Sasya's Sketches. This would of been my last post as a member of the Design Team but Sasya has asked me to stay on for one more term and of course I had to say yes.

For my card this week I used the MFT rolled rose and the Martha Stewart leaf punch. The papers are from PTI and the stamp is by SU and was a gift from my friend Connie.

Here is the sketch that inspired my card.

I hope you can play along with us.
Enjoy!

butterfly wishes

I finally picked up some doilies to use on a card and this weeks sketch challenge over at Sasya's Sketches was the perfect time to pull them out.

Along with the doily I used papers from the BasicGrey "lemonade" collection. I love the colors and patterns in this line. The butterfly is a PTI die and I added white gloss enamel to the butterfly.

I hope you will take some time this week to play along with us.
Enjoy!

friend

Oh yes, it is Wednesday and time for another sketch challenge over at Sasya's Sketches. I need to admit that I had a lot of fun with this sketch.

I used some pink organza fabric instead of paper on my card along with a flair button by American Crafts and my favorite Cuttlebug embossing folder "swiss dots". Sorry the photo is not the greatest. The light kept glaring the button.

Here is the sketch that inspired my card.

I hope you will join us this week and play along.
Enjoy!

For my card I used some of my handmade wrinkle ribbon along with a doily from SEI, feltie bloom from Pebblesinc., and my all time favorite Cuttlebug embossing folder.

My clean and simple card was inspired by this sketch. I definitely am a fan of CAS sketches.

I hope you will take time to play with us during this busy time of year.

wishing you ~ ss41

It is Wednesday and time for another sketch challenge over at Sasya's Sketches. This weeks sketch is a fun one as it is a shaped card or at least that is how I made mine.

For my card I used papers from the BasicGrey "Curio" collection which happens to be my current favorite non-holiday paper collection.

I created my card using spellbinders dies along with some of my handmade wrinkle ribbon, a rolled rose, Martha Stewart leaf punch and the sentiment is from PTI.

I hope you will find some time to play along with us. In the meantime I hope you are staying warm.
Enjoy!

birthday ~ ss#40

I have a quick card to share with you today for this weeks challenge over at Sasya's Sketches.

For my card I used BasicGrey's newest papers and die-cuts called "marjolaine" along with some rolled roses, martha stewart leaf punch and Cosmo Cricket "tiny type" stickers. Notice that crocheted lace border? That was a gift from a friend for my birthday and I knew as soon as I saw this sketch I had to use it.

I hope if you have time this week you will play along with us.
Enjoy!

I can't believe it is Wednesday and time for Sasya's Sketches new sketch challenge. This week we have a fun sketch for you to try.

For my card I used papers by Memory Box from the "tinsel" collection. One of my favorites this year and some bling. I distressed all the edges and added a sentiment at the bottom.
