I am back from taking my sister Sharon home to Wahpeton, ND and got somethings done around the house so now feel that I can do the challenge over at 365 Cards today. The challenge for today is all about Gingham. We are to create a piece of clothing using Gingham as the fabric. I knew exactly what stamp I would use as I only own two stamps that have anything to do with clothing and both of them are the Lockhart Stamp Company aprons. They are so much fun to piece together with different papers.
For today's card I used BasicGrey Lemonade papers, I did some faux stitching around the edges of the card which is 4.25x4.25 square. I stamped the You're Invited using an A Muse stamp onto Neenah Avalanche white cardstock, I used my Stampin' Up journal punch on the edge and then used some Ranger distressing ink in Vintage Photo to finish it off.
Enjoy~
I love it Sherry. The papers are gorgeous and that lime colour is totally scrumptious!!
