hello ~ hi ~ thanks (Warning Long Post)

Today was a lazy day for me and I spent it playing in my craftroom with some new digital stamps.

This card is for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge and I used my new Lori Boyd "lollipop" digital image. Isn't she just too cute. I paired her up with "DeLovely" by Cosmo Cricket and colored her with my Tombow markers.

My next card is for the challenge over at Sketch Girl and I used another new Digital image that I bought from Soft Pencil digital images. Once again I used the Cosmo Cricket "DeLovely" papers and I colored with my Tombows.

My last card is for this weeks challenge over at Clean and Simple Stamping and I used Cosmo Cricket "Garden Variety" and the flower is made using the Tim Holtz new flower die. I fussy cut the leaves.

Now I need to get busy and work on a couple of 60th birthday cards that an old friend asked me to make for her sister. They are vintage photo cards which I love making.

Enjoy!

sit

Well it looks like it is going to be another beautiful day here and all the more reason for me to start early working on the garage sale stuff so I can finish up and then enjoy this beautiful weather.

I love the Heather Ellis "pure innocence" digital stamps. So much fun to color (or practice coloring in my case).

I used the BasicGrey "max and whiskers" paper pad as I thought it went so well with this image. The card was inspired by the sketch this week over at SG18.

Enjoy!

Clean & Simple, Sketch Girl, & Limelight

I apologize for not posting yesterday. I had some cards done and just needed to get a photo taken of them and then do my blog entry. Well I don't know where the day went to, but I never got around to doing it so today you will see 3 of the 4 cards that I created.

This first card is for this weeks challenge over at Clean and Simple Stamping and it was perfect to use this new BasicGrey "cappella" paper pad. Sentiment is by A Muse and the flower is from Unity, and ribbon is May Arts.

This next card is for the challenge over at Sketch Girl and when I saw it i knew it would be the sketch I use for the card I am sending to my friend Tami's sister to welcome her new dog Annie that she recently picked up.

Papers used for this card are the new BasicGrey "max and whiskers", stamps are by inkadinkadoo. I had to show you the inside of the card too where I added some more of this cute paper and a little paw print.

My last card is for the challenge over at LimeLight PaperCrafts and uses more of the BasicGrey "cappella", Neenah natural white cardstock which was embossed using one of the exclusive european KARS cuttlebug folders, ribbon is May Arts, Stamp is by Endless Creations and butterfly is Martha Stewart.

I hope you enjoy these card creations and again I apologize for the long post. Have a great day.

Happy Easter ~ Part II

Another quick card to show you today that is for the new challenge over at Sketch Girl.

I don't think I will ever get tired of making handmake roses or using vintage photos for cards. These rosebuds are so easy to make and would you believe one large glue dot holds it together? I added  a misc. white flower that I had, a couple of Martha Stewart leaves, paper is from the new Photo Mat pack that I picked up at Michael's on sale by My Mind's Eye "Home". Love the colors and patterns in this set.

Enjoy!

2 card challenges - sorry for the long post

Well I have been a little busy and have 2 card challenges to show you today.

The first card is for the challenge this week over at Sketch Girl this was a fun sketch and I used the new BasicGrey "kioshi" 6x6 paper pad along with another handmade rose. The sentiment is from American Crafts "dear lizzy" that I picked up at Anchor Paper this past weekend.

This 2nd card is for Card Patterns sketch 55 and I used the Cosmo Cricket "joy ride" 6x6 mini deck, ribbon is from CC "earth love" and the image is from Digital Fairy Stamps. You just gotta love this little guy.

Enjoy~
