celebrate this life - PP83

I have a quick card to share with you that I am making for the Paper Players challenge.

I always have a tough time creating masculine cards so I tend to use pine trees a lot on them. Maybe because most of the guys in my life love going up to Northern Minnesota on vacation and we have lots of pine trees in the area that we go to.

Thanks for stopping by to look at my card.

snow much fun

Happy Monday! Did you all have a great weekend? We had beautiful weather here in Minneapolis this past weekend.

Yesterday was card club at Anchor Paper Express where I teach with my friend Bonnie and Kathy. We had a full group and it was a lot of fun.

I created this card the other night using "Saint Nick" papers by Fancy Pants. I used a Martha Stewart border and snowflake punch and the sentiment is an SRM sticker.

I used this weeks Card Patterns sketch as my inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by to look. I love comments so if you read my blog please do me a favor and leave a comment because who knows when I will sling out some of my handmade wrinkle ribbon as a give away for one commenter. :P

more DeLovely

If I haven't said it before I love this new paper line by Cosmo Cricket. The colors are bright yet still have that vintage feel to them.

The inspiration for this card also comes from this weeks sketch challenge over at LimeLight PaperCrafts. Mandy does a fantastic job with her sketches and she even sells product too.

If you read my blog on a regular basis you know how much I love making flowers. Flowers of all shapes and sizes. Here are some of the ones I made this past week.

It looks as if the rain has finally left us as the sun is shining ever so bright this morning.

Enjoy!

details:
paper: Neenah (solar white linen) Cosmo Cricket (delovely)
accessories: May Arts (ribbon) PTI (lemon tart button) Karen Foster (scrappers floss) Stampin' Up (border punch)

Enjoy!

HOME

Okay I have to admit that I have never made a round card before they kind of scare me for some unknown reason. So today I am stepping out of my comfort zone and doing this weeks challenge over at Card Patterns.

For this card I used a Jenni Bowlin bingo card, Cosmo Cricket "early bird", PTI vintage buttons, Martha Stewart leaf punch, Ranger vintage photo disressing ink.

I will be sending this card off to a friend who recently bought a new home.
Enjoy!

loving easter greeting

I am finally getting some of my Easter cards done so that I can get them in the mail before it is too late.

This card is made using Card Patterns Sketch 57 along with some lovely Karen Foster papers, Prima roses, PTI buttons, pearl dew drops, Nestabilities, Martha Stewart ribbon from Tami, and Martha Stewart bunny punch.

Not sure if I like how the photo turned out. I took my camera outside to my front porch hoping to get better light.  Maybe I will stick to taking the photos inside.
Enjoy!

I actually got a few scrapbook layouts done today for Micah's book. This first one is for the challenge over at Pencil Lines.

I have to admit I love how this turned out. I used papers from the "beloved" collection by My Minds Eye. I added some handcut hearts, PTI buttons, a scrunchy flower, and "thickers" by American Crafts.
Enjoy!
