Oh Crab...

I got a new stamp set the other day and could not wait to use it. I have been wanting an image stamp forever from Paper Smooches and finally got one. Thanks Michelle.

Don't you just love that little crab and the sentiment is just perfect, especially on this card today.

I used the newest challenge over at  Less is More which was a sketch challenge.

Notice the nice sketch with that nice border below the image? Notice on my card how I totally forgot it? See I told you that sentiment was perfect for this card. lol

so very grateful for YOU

Wow, it somehow feels like I haven't posted in days. I had good intentions of creating a card or layout but never seemed to find my MOJO in time.

I do have a card for you that is for the November Kit Club over at A Day for Daisies though. I love all of the images in this months kit and if you haven't seen them all make sure to stop by the blog.

I decided to go for a pretty clean look on my card so used lots of Neenah Solar White Linen, a QuicKutz embossing folder, sentiment is by PTI and ribbon from my ribbon shop.

back to school - TPE83

Well tomorrow it is back to school for kids here and that means my Cassie will be starting the 5th grade this year. I always make her a card and mail it to her so she has it when she gets home from school.

I was so happy to find this cute digital lollipop stamp by Lori Boyd. Meet school girl Lacie. Isn't she just adorable?

My card today is for the challenge over at The Pink Elephant and the theme is "back to school".

i'm back ~ now & forever

Well I am back after almost a week of spending time with my sister and just in time for Project Tuesday.

This weeks challenge was to create a swing out card and you can find all the details over at Project Tuesday.

I even add the border punch to the backside of the card as it hides the back of the brad. You don't have to do this part but I happen to think it just finishes it off nicely.

It is Sunday and I am going over to help a couple of friends clean out a craftroom. This should be fun as I haven't seen them in awhile and am really looking forward to it.

While blurfing a few days ago I found a couple of new sketch challenges to try out.

This card was inspired by the sketch challenge over at Claudia and Company. The sketch was created by Lori Boyd who does the adorable "lollipop" stamps.

My next card is also for a new sketch challenge I found and this one is at The Greeting Farm blog.

I really enjoyed working with both sketches and can see myself doing these challenges on a regular basis. So if you want to try a new sketch challenge give one of these a try.

HELLO

A quick post today for you using up some paper from October Afternoon from the Weathervane collection called "chilly mornings". I also mixed in some Graphic 45 paper and some more of those adorable Mini Market stickers by OA.

My card was inspired by the sketch over at Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge I do have to admit that this card took a little longer than I expected it to and this is actually card #2 ~ I threw out card #1.
