congrats ~ peaceful ~ joy

I have been making cards and have a  few cards that I can share with you today. The others will be shared with you next week for my design team obligations.

This first card uses another of those fabulous Lori Boyd digital images "baby kate" and she is available through Claudia and Company. I used her for the challenge over at "a crafty little place" and this weeks challenge was to use a manilla tag on your card or layout.

For this card I used some scraps of baby papers that I had in my baby girl file, white wrinkle ribbon, basicgrey buttons, amd may arts ribbons.

My next card is for this weeks challenge over at Get Sketchy. They are having a DT call right now.

For this card I used some of my "mistletoe" collection from Memory Box, tiny type stickers from Cosmo Cricket, SU bird punch, and button from PTI.
And here is the sketch that inspired my card.

My last card is for the challenge over at CCEE this was another fun challenge and I decided to do another Holiday card.

I used the memory box "mistletoe" collection for this card too, along with a PTI die, A Muse stamp, and some kaisercraft pearls.

Here is the sketch.

Okay, I am heading out of my craftroom and down into the air conditioned part of the house. I am so ready for cooler fall like weather.

Enjoy!

have a merry christmas...

I know you had to read that title twice and yes I am posting a Christmas Card in July! I usually start making my cards early, but not usually this early.

My card is for the challenge over at CCEE and they are having a holiday card sketch challenge this week.

I got the inspiration for my card from the following sketch and once I saw it I knew that I wanted to do some kind of a wreath and I also knew that I wanted to do some kind of an embossing folder.

I had not used this punch yet and once I got going making the little wreath it was quite fun, the hard part was gluing them all down and then adding the fiskar rain dots.

So now I have one card down and 99 more to go. Hope you will join me this week in this fun challenge.

Enjoy!

~ supplies ~
paper: neenah (solar white linen) basis (red and green)
ink: memento black
stamps: a muse (have a merry)
accessories: cuttlebug (25 days embossing folder) american crafts (christmas ribbon) fiskars (rain dots) evergreen bough punch

finally friday ~ let the crop begin

It is finally friday and I am planning on heading over to Archivers today to do some serious scrapbooking. Sometimes it is fun to get out of your normal space and go to a new one. I like going and meeting new people as well as sharing ideas.

First I have a couple cards to share with you and I apologize for the lighting as it is kind of early and the sun isn't all the way up yet.

This first card is for the challenge over at EBTKS and it is my first time doing this challenge. I love the clean and simple sketch.

I used some of my handmade wrinkle ribbon along with my swiss dots embossing folder. That fun little oval is from October Afternoon label stickers and the sentiment is from pebblesinc.

This next card is for the challenge over at CCEE and it is another simple sketch. I have used my new Websters Pages papers on this card along with a Hero Arts stamp.

Enjoy your day and I will be back tomorrow with a card and maybe a layout or two.

thanks

It is supposed to be a wet and windy day here in Minnesota and I am hoping the weatherman is wrong as I have some errands I want to do.

If I haven't said this before I love the new October Afternoon 8x8 paper pad "fly a kite" and the Cosmo Cricket "tiny type" stickers, I bought 2 of every color the other day so I won't run out.

My card was inspired by this weeks sketch over at CCEE Stampers.
Enjoy!

rain ~ rain

My card today is for the CCEE Stampers sketch challenge and for this card I used a new digi file called "rain rain" from the cutting cafe. I thought these cute little "wellies" were just too cute.

I also used my cuttlebug "swissdots" embossing folder on the yellow squares. I colored in the wellies with my Copic markers and added a little clear spica glitter to the flowers and then I added some Glossy accents to the rain puddle.
Enjoy!

with Affection

A quick post this morning before I leave to spend the day with my BFF Jeanne and her twin sister Judy.

This card is for the sketch challenge over at CCEE I have used my new Vintage Valentine papers by Fancy Pants. I love that they are Kraft papers. To them I have added some Ranger distressed Vintage Photo ink and a Heidi Grace Heart Stick Pin.

Enjoy your day and spend it with the people you care about!

HUGS & A Give Away

I love this new little PTI stamp that I got in the mail this week she is from the Pure Innocence collection. I can tell I am going to enjoy changing her clothes all the time with different paper collections. These papers are from the BasicGrey "nook and pantry" collection. The sentiment on the outside and on the inside of the card are from The Cutting Cafe set "everyday greetings ~ set 1).

The sketch is for CCCE Stampers which is a new challenge blog for me and it looks like they have a fun group of people playing along with them.

Now onto the Give-A-Way Regina over at The Cutting Cafe is letting me give away this fabulous set which has 18 different sentiments. To be eligible to win just leave me a comment here and on the 16th of January I will pick one lucky winner.

Good Luck & Enjoy!
