ruff day?

I fell in love with this paper over at Anchor Paper last week and knew that I just had to have a piece of it even if I don't own a dog.

This is from We R Memory Keepers and it is a cat and dog collection that is just adorable. I love the muted colors and fun animals on it.

I used this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch for my inspiration along with some October Afternoon Mini Market Stickers.

Thanks for stopping by to look.

cards, cards and more cards

Since it has been raining the last couple days I have been up in my craft room working on a couple mini albums as well as some cards and today I am going to share some of those cards with you.

I bought some new papers by Echo Park called "victoria garden" and immediately fell in love with them.

The first card I created is for this weeks challenge over at The Sweet Stop.

The next card is for this weeks challenge over at CPS and I used more of those lovely papers by EP along with my new PTI stamp set and some hand rolled roses.

Lastly is a card I created using the sketch over at Create with Connie and Mary. I absolutely love their sketches.

mini me

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days I wish I could say I was off on some fun vacation but I wasn't. I have been in my craftroom making mini albums out of envelopes, chipboard, cardstock and patterned papers.

I learned how to make these mini albums and am now hooked on them. I also learned how to make them out of paper bags and chipboard and will share that one as soon as I do the binding on it.

Here are a few photos of the mini's. One is just the pages and no actual photos yet and the other is almost done.

I think my favorite part of making the mini albums is the spine. When you are done it looks like an actual bound book and this just amazes me.

I have made a couple cards too and will be back tomorrow to show those to you.

Thanks for stopping by to look and I would love to hear your comments.

Enjoy!

merry christmas

It is Christmas in July over at A Day for Daisies so I had to dig out my Christmas container with all my papers and embellishments to play with.

I am using "Candy Elf B" as my image along with this weeks sketch by Karen Giron over at Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. My papers are by Webster's Pages and embellishment is by Making Memories.

just because...

A Day for Daisies is sponsoring this weeks sketch challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

And  I have decided to play along using one of Tammy's vintage babies on my card along with papers by Echo Park "for the record".

Here is the sketch we were to follow.

I hope you will take some time this week to play along with us as well.

washi ~ washi

I just love washi tape lately and as soon as I saw the sketch over at Techno Stamper I knew I was going to use it again.

I place washi tape on my chipboard before I cut out these heart images. The sentiment is a rub-on by Pebblesinc.

Here is the sketch I used for inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by to look I appreciate your comments.

celebrate ~ you are special

I have a couple cards to share with you that I made last night while Skyping with my friend Michelle.

The first card is for this weeks challenge over at CAS-ual Friday and the challenge is to use a rub-on.

I used a making memories rub-on along with some washi tape from my stash.

Next up is a card that I created for this weeks sketch over at Card Patterns.

I used papers by BasicGrey from the "out of print" collection, along with some kraft cardstock, lace from my stash and EK Success border punch.

Here is the sketch that I used for my inspiration.

power outage...

I was going to post this earlier this morning but we were without power for about 6 hours so after running out to get a cup of coffee and a few other errands I came home to wait for the power.

I have a mini album to share with you that I did while scrapbooking with friends last week.  I used the October Afternoon "campfire" line of papers, chipboard album and embellishments.

The photos are of my husband, son Justin and his best friend Ernie and their annual trip up to the cabin in Northome, Minnesota.

Thanks for stopping by to look your visit and comments are appreciated. I will be back later with a couple of cards.

Enjoy!

It can't be Friday!

As I was sitting here this morning enjoying my nice cup of coffee I was mapping out my day and knew that I eventually had to get my card uploaded for tomorrows A Day for Daisies new release.

All of a sudden I realize that today is Friday and I have totally missed posting my card to the design team blog so it will be there when they do the new reveal.

This is what happens to me when I go scrapbooking for two days with friends.

So without further delay here is my card for this week using Tammy's new release image "baby wings".

I fell in love with this little one the moment I saw it. Now here are the rest of this weeks new images.
