Tuesday and a little BLD

I wanted to share a quick card that I made this morning using this weeks sketch over at Sweet Sunday. Karen has the greatest sketches and I am always inspired by her cards.

I used one of Lori Boyd's images from the March release called Lollipop Cora. Papers are by My Minds Eye from Kate & Co., 'Oxford Lane' collection.

I spent yesterday with Micah while his Mom and Dad were at work and he took me on a little tour of the neighborhood. He got me to the park and back home.

my favorite day

I have this pile of pictures on my desk and decided I should start doing something with them. So this is the result of the first picture in the pile.

Sorry the photo isn't that great it is dark out and the lighting in my room isn't all that great.

 I love this little photo of Micah. He is growing up way too fast and will be three on St. Patrick's Day.

New Bed

Sorry no card today as I have been busy working on my cards and project for my July classes at Anchor Paper on University.

I wanted to share a picture of Micah's new bed which he is not at all thrilled with and when I checked with his Mom this morning I guess Dad spent 40 minutes walking Micah back to his room about 60 times. In the end he slept with Mom and Dad and not in the new bed.

Tonight will be round 2 of trying to get Micah to sleep in the new bed in his own room.

Now I am off to get ready to meet Tami for coffee at Caribou.

let them eat cake

Just had to share this picture of Micah with you after he dug into his cupcake yesterday.

Not only was it all over his face he had it in his hair, on the chair, and even on the floor.

checking in

Just a quick note to say that I will be gone until late Sunday to my annual February scrapbooking retreat. Hopefully, this will get me back into a creative mood when I get home.

I was over taking care of Micah as he is sick with an ear infection and upper respiratory infection. Poor baby all he wanted to do was cuddle and rub his runny nose on my shirt. (yuck) I think that is part of being his Nana and it will all come out in the wash.

While I am gone enjoy a picture of my favorite little guy.
