in your heart

It is a beautiful day here in Minnesota and I have a quick card to share with you.

I created this card using October Afternoon papers and embellishments from the "holiday style" collection along with a sentiment by Penny Black.

Well you know I just had to play along with this challenge since I love making rolled flowers and could probably do it with my eyes closed.

Thanks for stopping by to look. I will be back later today with a couple of scrapbook layouts that I have done for my online class.

christmas memories

I have been a bit under the weather but have a card to show that I made a few days ago.

I created this card using papers and chipboard from Lilybee Designs, Twine from Jillibean Soup and the challenge over at Christmas Card Challenge week #20.

Thanks for stopping by to look. Will be back with another card when I am feeling a little better.

framed snowman

I almost forgot to create my card for my two Christmas card challenge blogs.

I created this card using my Sizzix embossing folder, image is framed snowman by dillybeans, pattern paper is by Bo'Bunny, button and twine are from my stash.

I am entering this card into this weeks Merry Monday Challenge #10 which is a sketch challenge.

And I am also entering this card into the challenge over at Christmas Card Challenges week #14.

silent night

We are supposed to be getting a big snowstorm over the course of the next two days. We will wait and see if the weatherman is right this time or not.

I created a quick card this morning for the newest challenge over at Christmas Card Challenges.

For my card I chose to once again use papers and embellishments from the October Afternoon "holiday style" collection.

I just love this collection and this card literally put itself together in just a couple minutes.

Thanks for stopping by to look.

distress stains

I absolutely love coloring my large background stamps with distress inks and acrylic paints.

Today I took a few minutes to whip up a card for the newest challenge over at Christmas Card Challenges. This weeks challenge is "backgrounds".

Once again I used a kraft cardbase thanks to my friend Amy who got me using those along with my standard white or natural.

Thanks for stopping by to look and I will be back soon.
Enjoy!

joy

I am really enjoying making a weekly Christmas card or two, knowing that by the end of this year I should have a nice stash.

Normally I would of put my colored image on top of a white card base, but because of my friendly challenge with Amy I am using Kraft.

The challenge this week over at Christmas Card Challenges is "coloring".

Enjoy!

It's beginning to look like...

I am going to try and get a head start on next years cards by doing the weekly challenges over at the Christmas Card Challenge.

This weeks challenge #7 is all about Flourishes.

I pulled out my 6x6 Echo Park papers and chipboard along with a pearl flourish by ZVA and my favorite Martha Stewart scallop border punch to create this easy card.

Thanks for stopping.
Enjoy!
