Merry Monday #70

Happy Monday my friends! Time for a new Merry Monday sketch challenge from Lesley over at Always Playing with Paper.

I love a good sketch challenge and this weeks is exactly that.

For my card I pulled out some old papers that I have had for awhile but had not used yet for some reason. This collection is called City Sidewalks by Pink Paislee.

Stop over at the blog and check out what the rest of my fellow design team members have created using this sketch.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today it really means a lot to me.

City Sidewalks ~ MM43

Well I went into my box that I keep all my completed Christmas cards in and the grand total for this year is eighty (80). Can't believe I made that many cards this year. Kind of fun to go through the box and look at each one.

Well it is Monday and time for the last Merry Monday sketch challenge until after the New Year.

I used some new papers by Pink Paislee on my card from the 'City Sidewalks' collection. I love the colors in it and the warm vintage feel to it.

Here is this weeks wonderful sketch full of so many possibilities.

I hope you will play along with us this week and then come back after the New Year as Leslie has a lot of new things planned for us here at Merry Monday.

In case I don't get a chance to tell you I want to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today it really means a lot to me.

laugh

Don't you just love the sound of a child laughing? I spent yesterday at a neighborhood park with my two little grandkids and we had so much fun.

I created a card today for this weeks sketch over at Sweet Sunday and it reminds me of the fun I had today which is just what I needed as I have been feeling a little down lately.

Here is the sketch that inspired my card.

And here are a couple of pictures from today.

Thanks for stopping by to look and as usual I love to read your comments.
Enjoy!

duck

I saw this stamp at Anchor Paper last week and just knew I had to buy it. My little Micah has a fascination with Ducks (all birds are ducks to him).

His Mom just sent me a text message and said that Micah just said "two big ducks ~ big jump ducks". Not sure what he means but he was pointing at a bird when he said it.

I used papers from Pink Paislee "hometown summer" and stickers by Cosmo Cricket.

Enjoy!

for sophie ~ dream big

I made a couple of cards last night while Skyping with my friend Michelle in Austrailia.

My first card is for this weeks sketch challenge over at Card Patterns.

I used papers from the "portrait" collection by Crate Paper. The stamp and sentiment are by Unity.

Here is the sketch that was my inspiration on this one.

My next card is one that is going postal today to Michelle's grand~daughter Sophie who often pops in while we are Skyping, she calls me Nana Sherry.

I used papers and chipboard pops by Pink Paislee from the "hometown summer" collection.

The sketch from Techno Stamper was my inspiration.

It is raining outside today so I am thining it is a great day to do a few cards or a scrapbook layout or two and watch a movie.

Enjoy!
